Coming Soon...

It looks like the little guy will be here before the end of the week. We had a non-stress test this morning and a visit with our doctor this afternoon. I am already 3-4 centimeters dilated, and the monitor during the non-stress test showed that I am having regular contractions every 7 minutes. I feel what seem like very mild cramps, but not every 7 minutes. If he doesn't show up on his own in the next few days, my doctor said she'll induce me on Thursday morning because of my high blood pressure.

It's kind of hard to believe that it is really happening. I find myself thinking about everything and nothing. For now, I am just waiting. Feeling as if I am holding my breath.

  1. I am so excited for you! I was not at all dilated last Wednesday. I have another visit this Wednesday. I have been having Braxton-Hicks, but nothing as regular as 7 minutes apart! Wow.

I can't wait to hear about your baby when he's born. I wish you both speed & health, and to your husband nerves of steel. :)

  3. I am overjoyed for you. Truly overjoyed. I have watched your story unfold from its early days . . . to this . . . this incredible, beautiful beginning of life.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers. It will all go well!

Each birth story is different, and yours will be wonderful, despite the high blood pressure. Don't worry about a thing!

** Just don't forget to post the good news **

  13. I haven't read your blog in a long time (via ATL), but I am very excited to read of your wonderful news! As an attorney who's had infertility treatments, and are now the parents of 3 year old twin girls, and without wanting to cause you a kinahurra (sp?), mazel tov to you and your husband! It is very exciting to have such success after so much difficulty and the joy of parenthood is fantastic. My best to you and your husband.
